How F-PAT works

Automated file surveillance that watches every corner of your web server — around the clock, every day of the year.

Scheduled scans that catch every change

F-PAT automatically retrieves a full file list from your web server and compares it against the previous scan. Any difference — no matter how small — is flagged as a potential tampering event. This works for HTML, images, PDFs, and every other file type on your server.

12:00
First scan
F-PAT fetches a snapshot of all server files. This becomes the reference (Data A).
13:00
Next scan
One hour later, F-PAT fetches a new snapshot (Data B).
Instant
Comparison
Data A and Data B are compared. Any difference triggers an alert.
Immediately
Alert sent
An email is sent to up to 5 registered addresses with full details.

Scans run as frequently as every hour on the standard plan. You can also review exactly which files changed in the control panel at any time. The 1-month free trial runs once per day.

Starting at just ¥8,250/month (tax included) — no setup fee required. Choose between the full standard plan (up to 100,000 files, hourly scans) or the free 1-month trial to get started right away.

Your dashboard, fully in your hands

After signup, you receive login credentials by email. The control panel lets you configure and monitor everything — no technical expertise required.

Latest patrol log

View the most recent scan results at a glance. If a change was detected, full details appear at the bottom of the screen — including which files were affected.

History view

Browse up to 7 days of past scan data. Click "Details" on any flagged row to see exactly what changed during that patrol.

Script download

Download the one-file PHP script to upload to your server. This is what enables communication between your server and F-PAT. Keep the filename unchanged.

User manual

A full PDF manual is available directly in the control panel. For any questions beyond the manual, contact us via the support form.

Patrol settings

Patrol on/off
Start or stop monitoring at any time. New accounts default to "stopped" — click Start to begin.
Target URL
Enter the full URL of the site to monitor (starting with http:// or https://). Required before first scan.
Script folder path
Specify where you uploaded the PHP script, relative to the document root. Leave blank if placed directly in the public root.
Target folder
Optionally restrict monitoring to a specific subfolder. All subdirectories within it are included automatically.
Exclusion rules Standard only
Exclude specific files or directories from alerts — useful for log files, CMS auto-generated folders, or contact form data that changes frequently.
Scan interval Standard only
Choose from: every 1, 3, 6, 12, or 24 hours. The free trial is fixed at once per day.
Alert email addresses
Register up to 5 addresses (standard plan) or 1 address (free trial). Enter one per line.
Quiet hours
Set time ranges when alerts should not be sent — for example, outside business hours. Changes during quiet hours are still logged.

Instant email alerts with full details

When F-PAT detects a change, an alert is sent immediately to all registered addresses. The email includes a full breakdown of what changed — so you can assess the situation without even logging into the panel.

Common non-malicious causes

Not every alert means an attack. F-PAT will also fire when:

WordPress or another CMS automatically creates or updates folders/files
Access log files are updated by visitor traffic
Contact form submissions accumulate data in a file
Anti-spam scripts generate temporary blocking files
Actual file tampering by a malicious third party

Tip: use the exclusion rules in the control panel to suppress alerts for known non-malicious paths.

Weekly summary report

Every Monday, F-PAT sends a digest of the previous week's activity — so you'll catch anything you may have missed, and confirm the service is running normally.
